These terms govern your use of Lifehampers Diaspora (diaspora.lifehampers.com) and the property verification, inspection, monitoring and paperwork services provided through it by Lifehampers Global Consults (“Lifehampers”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order or using the client portal you agree to these terms.

1. About us

Lifehampers Global Consults is a business consulting and compliance firm at 9, Suite 4c Progressive Road, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Contact: info@lifehampers.com, +234 807 221 2214.

2. What our services are, and are not

• We gather and report information about a property: registry searches, survey charting, site inspections, community enquiries, construction progress and related paperwork. Legal searches are carried out by partner lawyers and survey charting by registered surveyors, who sign the parts of a report they are responsible for.
• A report records what was found on the dates of the searches and visits. It is not a guarantee of title, a valuation, a structural survey or legal advice on your transaction. Government records can be incomplete or change, and some problems cannot be discovered by any reasonable search.
• We do not act as your agent in buying property, we do not negotiate with sellers, and we never receive, hold or pass on purchase money.

3. Quotes

Prices shown on the site are starting points. Before any work begins we send a written quote stating the checks included, any registry or partner fees, the price and an expected timeline. The quote, together with these terms, is our agreement with you.

4. Payment

Work starts once you have approved the quote and paid the agreed amount. Pay only by the Paystack link we send or to the bank account on an official Lifehampers invoice. If you receive payment instructions that look different, confirm them with us on +234 807 221 2214 before paying.

5. Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information and genuine copies of documents, and tell us promptly of anything that changes. You confirm you are entitled to share the documents and information you upload. Delays in answering our questions will delay your report.

6. Timelines

Timelines are good-faith estimates. Registries and other offices are outside our control; we will tell you about delays we become aware of.

7. Cancellations and refunds

• If you cancel before we start work, we refund what you paid, less any bank or payment charges.
• Once work has started, registry, charting and partner fees already paid out cannot be refunded. We refund the part of our fee for work not yet done.
• If we cannot complete a check for reasons within our control, we will complete it, adjust the scope, or refund the fee for the undelivered part.
• Construction monitoring is month to month; cancel at any time before the next scheduled visit.

8. Liability

We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the fee you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make about buying, building or paying. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.

9. Your account and the portal

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Reports are for your own use and the use of your advisers; please do not publish them.

10. Website content

Guides on this site are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice for your situation. Fees and rules set by government agencies change.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will try to resolve any complaint with you directly first; otherwise the courts of Oyo State have jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one shown when you placed it.
